- I'm 36 years old and a Senior Broadcast Journalist
for BBC News. Currently I'm in charge of the news service 60seconds on BBC
Three.. Before that I was at BBC News 24 - the BBC's 24 hour television news
channel in the UK. I was on attachment from BBC Radio 5 Live where I was a
News Presenter.
- I started my career at BBC Radio
Devon back in 1983 (when I was 13) as a helper,
progressing through to a presenter/producer when I left
in 1990.
I then joined Atlantic 252 the national
Long Wave radio station based in Trim in Ireland where I spent a
year.
After that I came back to the United
Kingdom and presented an early show on the BBC Local Radio
stations in the South East. I also helped to launch BBC Three
Counties Radio (formerly BBC Radio Bedfordshire) before joining 5
Live in 1994.
Since then I've also presented on the
television. I spent 6 months at BBC South West in Plymouth where
I was a reporter/presenter on the regional news magazine
programme 'Spotlight'. I've also presented on BBC News 24 (when
someone was ill and there was no one else and when someone fell
asleep)

- Broadcasting
- As you can see above I work in
broadcasting and have had a love of the media since a
very early age. I tend to find working more of a hobby
than actual work. I have worked mainly for the BBC, and
although many criticise the organisation I believe it is
the best broadcaster in the world for the range and
diversity of programmes and stations - both radio and
television - that it produces. If you want to find out

- Jingles
- I'm what you would call an 'anorak' when it comes
to radio jingles. I collect them and have hundreds and hundreds from a variety
of stations across the world. If you're also a collector then I'm always open
to swaps. I tend to collect on MD/DAT or CD rather than cassette. I tend to
collect packages from UK stations but also have a wide range of demos from
